Engine Support Brackets 2WD/4WD 1972- 1993 Trucks Originally from the factory, 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive trucks (from 1972 and later) use a completely different bracket. We've taken those two brackets and "combined" them into one bracket which works for both two wheel and four wheel drive applications. Notice there are two slots in the bottom, one is used for two wheel drive applications, and the other for 4 wheel, to provide exact factory spacing of your big block engine. These can be used on factory big block trucks, as well as for converting a small block or slant 6 truck to a big block, (but not later 3.9L V6 trucks, they use a different setup altogether.) And, we've made these even better than the original factory brackets. We used thicker steel, and allowed for extra clearance on the drivers side, in case you are using a high volume oil pump. Supplied in a very nice black powder coated finish. Use these with either our 101-1055 engine mounts, or our 101-1080's for heavy duty applications. And use our 109-1562 bolt kit to bolt these to the engine block.
Engine Support Brackets 1972 & Later Trucks - 2 wheel drive These are great engine support brackets for missing or damaged originals on factory big block 1972-1987 2 wheel drive trucks, or 1972-1974 4 wheel drive trucks which use the divorced transfer case. They can also be used for transplanting a big block into a factory small block truck of the above years. Even though big blocks were only in production until about 1979, these will actually work on trucks all the way up to 1987, since the body style remained basically unchanged. Use with our 101-1055 insulators, or our 101-1080's for heavy duty applications. These were originally sold as Chrysler # 3496899, for both sides.
Engine Support Brackets 66-71 Truck Shown above are the brackets for 1966-71 two and four wheel drive trucks. Chrysler # 2515960. Sold as a set. Use with our 101-1061 insulators.
Bolt Kit - Engine Support Brackets to Block - Without Tube Finally, a hard to find reproduction of the factory bolts that will allow you to bolt your engine support brackets to the motor mount ears which are cast into the side of your engine block. These have the thin style washers and fine thread just like the factory originals that Chrysler used. And because they are US made from high strength steel, they work great for those high horsepower applications as well. One kit contains six bolt/washer/nut assemblies, enough to do one complete engine (both sides.) These are for use with all of our engine suport bracket sets which DO NOT have the tube welded into the drivers side bracket, such as our Truck and early B body brackets.
Heavy Duty Locking Late Truck Mount We now offer our later style truck mount in a heavy duty version with a steel interlocking structure. This will cause the mount to "lock up" under heavy loads, limiting any excess engine movement. Great for stroker engines with tons of torque, huge off-road tires, or any application that will see heavy loads.
Engine Mount - Late truck, Van, Ramcharger - New Chrysler # 3632998, used on Trucks, vans, and Ramchargers from 1972 until the last year big blocks were offered. (1978/79). Use 2 per vehicle. Also an excellent mount for engine swaps due to its universal design.
Engine Mount - Early truck & Motorhome - New We now offer these mounts which were used in 1971 and earlier Dodge trucks and most Dodge motorhome chassis. These were originally sold as Chrysler # 2264675, Use 2 per vehicle, left and right side are identical.
Oil Pickup - Rear Sump Truck - New Reproduction Shown here is our EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND brand new OIL PICKUP which fits our rear sump oil pan for truck (and some motorhome) applications. These were originally sold as Chrysler part number 3577989 and 4027238. We also carry the matching oil pan and dipstick and tube and dipstick plug (listed separately,) all of which are necessary in order to use this pickup. These are a great opportunity to replace missing or damaged originals, or for engine swaps.
Oil Dipstick and Tube - Rear Sump Truck - New Reproduction Shown here is our brand new OIL DIPSTICK and TUBE which fits our rear sump oil pan for truck (and some motorhome) applications. These were originally sold under Chrysler part number 3735103 for the dipstick tube and 3496958 for the dipstick itself. We also carry the matching oil pan and pickup (listed separately,) both of which are necessary in order to use this dipstick and tube. This assembly includes three separate parts. The dipstick itself, the tube with attaching bracket welded on, and the small right angle brass fitting which is necessary to attach the tube to the oil pan. These are a great opportunity to replace missing or damaged originals. You will also need our 109-1560 dipstick plug, which plugs the hole in the side of the block that is normally used with center sump oil pans, but is required to be plugged when using a rear sump pan.
Dipstick Plug - Aluminum This is a reproduction of the aluminum dipstick plug the factory used on big block truck applications where the dipstick bolts directly into the rear sump oil pan instead of going though the engine block. It's also useful for any other application where you would want to plug the dipstick hole, such as in dragsters, long term storage, etc. Package includes ONE plug.
Oil Pan - Rear Sump Truck - EXTRA THICK We now offer a nice EXTRA THICK reproduction of the very hard to find rear sump truck oil pan. This was originally sold as Chrysler part number 3577640 and 4027236. Factory Chrysler Oil pans, and the "made in Taiwan" reproductions on the market are usually made from steel which is about .049" thick. We've reproduced these in our EXTRA THICK steel, which is about .083" thick, or about 70% thicker than normal. The extra thickness not only helps to keep the pan more rigid and the pan rails straight and flat, but it also helps if you accidentally scrape the pan on that odd speed bump or driveway. These are about 6" deep and hold 6 quarts of oil, plus one in the filter, for 7 quarts total. Will not fit stroker windage trays, can be used with stock stroke windage trays only. We also carry the matching oil pickup (111-1002), dipstick (111-1001), and dipstick block hole plug (109-1560), all of which are required to use this pan.
