Lightweight Alternator Retrofit Kit
Our lightweight alternator and bracket conversion kit frees up a few extra pounds. This complete kit contains a modern, internally regulated lightweight and compact Denso 60 Amp alternator, as well as the mounting spacers, brackets and bolts necessary to retrofit this alternator onto your big block Mopar. Alternator Bracket kit - Factory Style - New
For those that want original factory looking parts we now offer our BRAND NEW REPRODUCTION 100% USA made factory style alternator bracket set. These come in a powder coated black finish. They have all the curves and holes exactly like the factory ones did, including the two upper holes which fit both low deck "B" (361-383-400) and raised deck "RB" (413-426-440) engines. Aftermarket chrome units have only one hole which fits only RB engines. These require a 1968 or later water pump housing, or an aftermarket aluminum one. Why pay 50-60 bucks or more from the "reproduction" stores when we now have these available at a very affordable price.

Aluminum Super Stock Alternator Brackets
We are die hard Mopar guys over here. Most of us have been into Mopar for decades and have had dozens of them over the years. Naturally, we know all about Mopars famous super stock program, where the engineers stopped the stamping presses, removed the steel and did a limited run of aluminum through the presses to make doors, fenders, hoods, and lots of other stuff out of aluminum so it would be a fraction of the weight. Well, we make our own alternator and power steering brackets, so we thought, wouldn't it be cool if we did the same thing? So, we are offering a limited production run of our brackets out of aluminum! It's amazing how much lighter these are. Factory steel alternator brackets come in at about one pound for the set, and these aluminum ones are barely a third of a pound. A super cool conversation piece. They even have the factory original "TOP" stamped into them. Run them as is, polish 'em, or paint 'em black for that Stealth look. Get them while you can, only while supplies last... And, made in the USA of course!

Bolt Kit - Alternator - Performance 12 Point
Our Performance 12 point bolt kits are a nice looking option that features grade 8 strength, black oxide coating, and with a price that doesn't break the bank. This kit includes all the bolts and spacers you need to attach the alternator to the engine just like the factory did. These are a custom made length, not available off the shelf. You can be assured that at 440 Source, we've done our homework, and you'll be getting the correct, factory original length bolts for this application.

Alternator - Dual Field
Replacement "squareback" style alternator. These work with the 1970 & later style "dual field" electronic regulators. They can also be used with the '69 and earlier single field "points" type regulator if one field is connected to ground. These may have either a dual or single pulley. If you are using them with a single belt setup, only the pulley closest to the alternator is used. They work great with our brackets, belts, and bolt & spacer kits listed above. Some details in the appearance of the actual part may vary slightly from the picture, especially the pulley type and color.
