Engine Block Oil Passage Enlargement Drill Bit 12 Big block Mopars generally have a very good oiling system from the factory. However, one easy modification recommended by Mopar Performance is to enlarge the passages which go from the passenger side main oil galley to the main bearings. This allows extra oil to both the main and rod bearings, and only takes a few minutes to do with any hand drill. We carry the special 12" long drill bit required, which should be a standard part in any mechanic's tool box who is building high performance big block Mopar engines. Oil Pump Priming Shaft Our oil pump priming shafts are perfect for priming your engine before that first startup. These specially hardened steel priming shafts fit on any 3/8 in. or larger drill and will pressurize oil galleys to ensure against dry starts and ruining your engine. Dipstick Plug - Aluminum This is a reproduction of the aluminum dipstick plug the factory used on big block truck applications where the dipstick bolts directly into the rear sump oil pan instead of going though the engine block. It's also useful for any other application where you would want to plug the dipstick hole, such as in dragsters, long term storage, etc. Package includes ONE plug.

Oil Pump Gasket We now offer replacement oil pump gaskets. For some strange reason, these are not offered separately or included in ANY gasket sets from any of the major gasket suppliers such as Fel-pro, Victor, Rol, etc, and they are nearly impossible to find. Many of the gasket companies list "Oil Pump Gasket" in their catalogs, but under the description, the part is listed as an "o-ring", so it is actually the standard rubber o-ring which fits around the drive area of the pump, not the gasket. So, we've sourced these hard to find gaskets and now offer them for sale separately. Another "pain in the butt" big block Mopar problem made simple and inexpensive by 440 Source!
Oil Pump O-ring for M63HV or M63HP This is the replacement o-ring which fits around the shaft of the oil pump which slides up into the block. Great for replacing missing, damaged or dried out/cracked originals.
Oil Pan Gasket We carry a nice cork type oil pan gasket for those that prefer this style of gasket contruction. These fit all big blocks, all years. These are the same oil pan gaskets that are supplied in our complete kit , however when running a windage tray, two are required (one on the top, and one on the bottom of the tray.) We offer them separately so you can get the extra one needed if you are running a windage tray.
Adjustable Oil Pressure Regulator Our new adjustable oil pressure relief valve is a great accessory for your big block Mopar. This unit simply screws in and replaces the original plug which holds in the oil pressure relief plunger and spring. This plug is drilled and tapped in the center with an adjusting screw which can be screwed in or out as desired. The screw is surrounded by a special liquid tight o-ring seal to eliminate leaks, and held in place by a nylon lock nut & washer.
Screwing the plug in will put more pressure on the relief spring and raise the oil pressure, while screwing the plug out will release the pressure on the spring, and cause the oil pressure to drop. You can use this to adjust your oil pressure where you like it (within a reasonable range), even while the engine is running! (Challenge your Chevy buddies to try that one!) Works great for offsetting pressure loss or gain from specific bearing clearances, certain oil viscosities, etc, etc. Works with ALL oil pumps including factory pumps, aftermarket Melling pumps and Racing style billet aluminum pumps.

Clevite Bearing Guard Assembly Lube 8oz. Clevite's "Bearing Guard" assembly lube is specially formulated with an Extreme Pressure (EP) rating to provide proper lubrication for internal engine components during assembly, and for the first crucial moments of operation after engine start-up. If you are using Clevite bearings, this is best (factory matched) assembly lube you can get. Highly recommended!
Wix Extra Capacity Oil Filter We also offer these hard to find EXTRA CAPACITY genuine Wix oil filters. The canister height on these has been increased an extra 1 1/2 inches, to about 7 inches to make sure the oil pump has plenty of capacity. Other than a deep sump oil pan, this is the only way to increase the capacity of your oil system, and it's kept right at the supply side of the oil pump, just where it's needed most. A nice detail and an inexpensive way to get a little extra oil that most builders overlook. Don't forget to check to make sure you have clearance in the chassis for the extra length.
Magnetic Drain Plug We also have brand new replacement oil pan drain plugs with a magnet fixed inside them to catch any stray metal bits before they make their way back into the oil pump and through the motor. If some metal shavings somehow get flushed around inside your engine, this could be the best money you ever spent. Fits all Chrysler pans. Includes nylon washer/gasket as shown. Exact appearance may differ slightly from the picture.
