ARP Bolt Kit - 6 bolt Flexplate to Crank 7/16 Our ARP Flexplate to crank bolt kits are the strongest bolts you can get to attach a 6 bolt crank to flexplate for high horsepower and/or highly stressed applications. Made from 200,000 PSI forged aerospace alloy, these were originally developed for NASCAR winston cup competition. The bolts are fully heat treated prior to thread rolling and machining. Flat 12pt head design ensures no clearance problems during installation. These will also work for attaching the flexplate to the torque converter with Hemi or aftermarket racing torque converters that have 7/16" bolt holes (only 4 are required for this application, so you will have a couple spares.) If you have a stroker engine with aftermarket components, high stall, etc... these are must have item. You simply can not put in stronger bolts than these.

Flexplate 8 bolt - Hemi Crank Flange Our new super strong solid HEMI 8 bolt flexplate is an awesome value. We've found the solid circular type of flexplates to be much stronger than the ones with the "ears," which look more like the factory type. These are strong enough to stay together behind even the highest horsepower applications, or they work great for hot street cars as well. These are for internal (neutral) balance, they have no weights welded on them. This flexplate fits HEMI style 8 bolt crank flanges only, will not fit our 6 bolt style crankshafts. These include both torque converter bolt patterns; 5/16" bolts, and 7/16" bolts to ensure they will fit all aftermarket high performance and racing high stall converters. A great value, identical to B&M 10231 at less than half the price!

Flexplate 6 bolt - Cast Crank Our new CAST CRANK flexplate is a great option for someone who has an original CAST CRANK 400 or 440 engine, and wants to use it with an aftermarket performance torque converter. Mopar started using cast cranks in passenger car 440's in mid 1973, and these engines can be identified by an "E" stamped into the machined pad to the right of the distributor. These engines originally came with torque converters that had weights welded on them, since these engines were external balance. These days, finding torque converters with the weights welded on them is nearly impossible, especially if you're looking for a performance or high stall converter. This flexplate has a cutout shape on one side which replicates the function of the weights, so you can run your cast crank engine with any normal internal balace converter, without having to worry about the weights. 1045 Billet Steel Flywheel - New Our brand new heavy-duty billet flywheels are fully CNC machined from high quality 1045 super hard billet steel. The ring gear is made from high manganese carbon steel for accuracy and superior wear resistance. Ring gear is 130 tooth, weight is 27 pounds, and the overall diameter is 13.19 inches. The diameter of the machined face (without the ring gear) is about 12.5 inches. These fit a standard six bolt crank flange. The larger of the two bolt patterns measures 11 5/8" across (bolt hole center to center) and has 6 bolts evenly spaced around the outside of the wheel. These are very similar to the Mopar Performance part# P4529142 and McLeod #464102. Fits ALL Mopar V8 engines (even small blocks!) Works with 10.5 inch clutch only. For internal balance applications.

Bolt Kit - Bellhousing - Performance 12 Point Our Performance 12 point bolt kits are a nice looking option that features grade 8 strength, black oxide coating, and with a price that doesn't break the bank. This kit includes all the bolts you need to attach the transmission bellhousing to the back of the engine block. These kits include the four smaller forward facing bolts, as well as the two larger rear facing bolts. The slightly shorter large bolt goes on the passenger side, while the slightly longer one goes on the drivers side. Custom matching, small diameter washers are also included with this kit.
Permatex Blue Loctite Use our premium Permatex BLUE Loctite on all applications which need to be held in place, but are still intended to be broken loose from time to time. We always use this on certain parts of the engine which tend to come loose occaisionally due to harmonics, even when they are torqued correctly during assembly. Big Block Mopars are famous for this on torque coverter bolts, rocker arm hardware, cam sprocket bolts, etc. We highly recommend it for those applications. One small tube is usually enough to do one complete engine. Made in the USA!
