Well, we make our own alternator and power steering brackets, so we thought, wouldn't it be cool if we did the same thing? So, we are offering a limited production run of our brackets out of aluminum! It's amazing how much lighter these are. Factory steel power steering brackets come in at about 2 pounds for the set, and these aluminum ones are barely three quarters of a pound. A super cool conversation piece. Engine Support Brackets 1972 & Later Trucks - 2 wheel drive |
These are great engine support brackets for missing or damaged originals on factory big block 1972-1987 2 wheel drive trucks, or 1972-1974 4 wheel drive trucks which use the divorced transfer case. They can also be used for transplanting a big block into a factory small block truck of the above years. Even though big blocks were only in production until about 1979, these will actually work on trucks all the way up to 1987, since the body style remained basically unchanged. Engine Block Oil Passage Enlargement Drill Bit 12" |
Big block Mopars generally have a very good oiling system from the factory. However, one easy modification recommended by Mopar Performance is to enlarge the passages which go from the passenger side main oil galley to the main bearings. This allows extra oil to both the main and rod bearings, and only takes a few minutes to do with any hand drill. We carry the special 12" long drill bit required, which should be a standard part in any mechanic's tool box who is building high performance big block Mopar engines. Manton TRICK FLOW Pushrods Cut to Fit Pushrod Set 3/8 x .060 |
Our new AMERICAN MADE cut to fit pushrod sets are made for us by Manton Pushrods in Lake Elsinore, CA. These are specifically for use with TRICK FLOW heads on an RB (413/426/440) engine. Trick Flow heads use a considerably longer pushrod since the top of the head was raised up to allow for taller ports, which help to increase the airflow of the head. They are exactly what you need if you don't know exactly what your finished pushrod length should be. These 3/8" .060" wall heavy duty pushrods come with the ball end (bottom end) of the pushrods assembeled, however the top (cup) end comes unassembeled, so that you can cut the tubing down to the exact length you need. Maximum length is 10" (if they were put together without shortening the length,) and these pushrods can be cut down to any length shorter than that. While we recommend cutting the tubing on a lathe for the straightest possible cut, if you are in a pinch, these can also be cut with a cutoff wheel. The ends can be pressed in with a press, or (in a pinch) tapped in with a mallet if necessary. A great way to ensure you'll be getting the correct length pushrods for your TRICK FLOW heads, without having to mess with multiple orders, custom made parts, etc. |

Trick Flow Adjustable Checking Pushrod "RB" |
Shown here is our checking pushrod tool specifically for use with TRICK FLOW heads on an RB (413/426/440) engine. Trick Flow heads use a considerably longer pushrod since the top of the head was raised up to allow for taller ports, which help to increase the airflow of the head. Use this for applications with adjustable rocker arms which use the ball on the bottom end, and the cup on the top end. This is basically a pushrod which has been cut and threaded, so that it can be screwed in and out (or adjusted) once it is fit in the engine to determine the correct length pushrod you will need for that application. This is for use as a tool only, you would never actually run this pushrod in an engine. Once the correct pushrod length is found (by measuring the length of the checking pushrod after everything is positioned correctly), then pushrods can be ordered or made (if necessary) to that length. This version of our pushrod checking tool is adjustable from approximately 9" to 10." In case you are using Trick Flow heads on a "B" (383/400) engine, then use our standard RB checking pushrod (part number 200-1098) for that application. |

Trick Flow Rocker Holddown Conversion Kit |
We offer this 12 point performance bolt upgrade kit for using TRICK FLOW heads with our 200-1032 Billet Aluminum Rocker Holddown kit. Normally rocker hold downs will use 6 short bolts and 4 long ones, however Trick Flow heads were re-designed to use all 10 short bolts. So, we have sourced the additional four 12 point bolts required, and we offer them as a separate kit which can be purchased to use our 200-1032 rocker holddowns with Trick Flow heads. Includes 4 bolts, use one package per engine. Washers are not included, they are supplied with the 200-1032. |

These are only available fully CNC ported, and feature a peak intake flow of 334 CFM, which should easily make in the 600-700 horsepower range in a 500+CI engine, depending on the rest of your build. These interchange with all factory style components such as pistons, rocker arms, intakes and headers, so very little "special" items are required. They do require 3/4" extended reach spark plugs (use our part #138-1000) and special longer head bolts, see our special special Trick Flow head bolt kits also listed. This version is supplied with valve springs which will fit most FLAT TAPPET hydraulic cams and feature steel retainers with 7 degree locks which Trick Flow rates up to .650" max lift. ARP 5.200" Special Main Girdle Stud - ONE PIECE |
We now carry the special 5.200" long ARP studs which are supplied in our main girdle kit. These feature the extra long threads on the top end of the stud to allow for the extra thickness of the girdle plate, shims and hold down nuts. Normally, 8 of these are required for a complete engine, the rear (#5) main cap uses standard length studs since longer studs are impossible to use in this location due to the interference with the rear seal cap. Billet Distributor - "B" Engine |
Shown here is our BILLET distributor. These fit "B" (361/383/400) engines. The housings on these are fully machined from a solid block of 6061-T6 aluminum, giving them incredible strength, accuracy and a show quality finish. For those serious about performance as well as looks, these use a heavy duty centerless ground 1/2" hardened steel shaft held in place by completely sealed ball bearings. They also feature a permanently fixed extremely accurate magnetic pickup which never requires adjustment. These use "Spark Plug" style locking terminals on the cap to ensure a positive connection. Never before has such a high quality distributor been available for such a reasonable cost!! These have a performance mechanical advance curve built into them, which is adjustable. This includes only the magnetic pickup trigger only, so it will need to be used in conjunction with some type of ignition box, such as our 117-1004, an MSD 6A, 6AL, 7AL or equivalent, or a Chrysler style electronic control box. This distributor can also be used with a "female" (factory type) cap, see replacement caps below. These distributors use the caps listed as having an "IN-LINE" locating tab. |
