Oil Pressure Relief Valve Spring - High Pressure
We offer these high pressure oil pump relief valve springs. These are the same springs which used to be sold by Mopar Performance and can be used in any pump to increase the pressure. These are the same springs supplied by Melling in their M63HV (high volume) and M63HP (high pressure) pumps. These springs will "generally" produce about 70 PSI at above idle RPM's, however pressure can vary greatly depending on bearing clearance, oil viscosity and a host of other factors, so every engine can be different. We recommend using our 200-1093 adjustable oil pressure regulator (along with this spring) to dial in your oil pressure exactly where you want it to be. This is best to do with a drill while priming your engine.

Oil Pressure Relief Valve Gasket - Copper
We offer the oil pressure relief valve gasket in an upgraded COPPER material. Coppers soft nature helps it to seal better, and it is completely reusable. These are designed to replace and upgrade the original fiber type gasket, sold as Chrysler part number 618 622. These are also supplied new on most high dollar racing aluminum type pumps such as Milodon, etc. Shown as item #11 (circled in red) in the parts diagram.

Adjustable Oil Pressure Regulator
Our new adjustable oil pressure relief valve is a great accessory for your big block Mopar. This unit simply screws in and replaces the original plug which holds in the oil pressure relief plunger and spring. This plug is drilled and tapped in the center with an adjusting screw which can be screwed in or out as desired. The screw is surrounded by a special liquid tight o-ring seal to eliminate leaks, and held in place by a nylon lock nut & washer. Screwing the plug in will put more pressure on the relief spring and raise the oil pressure, while screwing the plug out will release the pressure on the spring, and cause the oil pressure to drop. You can use this to adjust your oil pressure where you like it (within a reasonable range), even while the engine is running! (Challenge your Chevy buddies to try that one!) Works great for offsetting pressure loss or gain from specific bearing clearances, certain oil viscosities, etc, etc. Works with ALL oil pumps including factory pumps, aftermarket Melling pumps and Racing style billet aluminum pumps.

Oil Pump O Ring Rebuild Kit - VITON - For Cast Iron Pumps

We have gone to great lengths to custom make these Big Block Mopar O-ring kits in premium VITON material. Viton is made by Dupont, and has much greater resistance to high temperatures than standard rubber. It also doesn't have a tendency to dry out and shrink over time while sitting, which makes it a great choice for cars which will sit for months or weeks in between being driven, virtually elimating leaks and cracking, etc. Overall, Viton is considered a top of the line material to use for any area inside an engine which is sealed by a rubber material. There is no other way to get VITON into your oil pump besides ordering these kits, and replacing the O-rings yourself, which is super easy to do by just removing the two bolts which hold the cover onto the body of the pump. These O-ring kits are very convienient for when oil pumps are being rebuilt and/or disassembled. These kits include all three O-rings used in a big block Chrysler oil pump. The small thin one which seals the neck of the pump to the engine block (shown in the picture as #1), the small thick one which seals the oil passage from the pump body to the cover (shown in the picture as #2), and the large one which seals the rotor gears to the cover (shown in the picture as #3). Oil Pump Gasket
We now offer replacement oil pump gaskets. For some strange reason, these are not offered separately or included in ANY gasket sets from any of the major gasket suppliers such as Fel-pro, Victor, Rol, etc, and they are nearly impossible to find. Many of the gasket companies list "Oil Pump Gasket" in their catalogs, but under the description, the part is listed as an "o-ring", so it is actually the standard rubber o-ring which fits around the drive area of the pump, not the gasket. So, we've sourced these hard to find gaskets and now offer them for sale separately. Another "pain in the butt" big block Mopar problem made simple and inexpensive by 440 Source!

Wix Extra Capacity Oil Filter
We also offer these hard to find EXTRA CAPACITY genuine Wix oil filters. The canister height on these has been increased an extra 1 1/2 inches, to about 7 inches to make sure the oil pump has plenty of capacity. Other than a deep sump oil pan, this is the only way to increase the capacity of your oil system, and it's kept right at the supply side of the oil pump, just where it's needed most. A nice detail and an inexpensive way to get a little extra oil that most builders overlook. Don't forget to check to make sure you have clearance in the chassis for the extra length.

Our new billet aluminum reusable oil filter will last a lifetime. Never buy another oil filter again. The two piece housing unscrews to reveal a washable filter element of finely woven stainless steel mesh. These fiter all particles down to 45 microns, and should be washed every 3000 miles. Also features full o-ring seals and integral magnet to trap any large particles (great for inspection during cleaning.) DeLuxe Engine Priming Tool
Our new "DeLuxe" engine oil priming tool is a super cool item that every Mopar guy should have in their toolbox. Featuring a CNC machined 6061 Aluminum housing with sealed ball bearings, this pops into the distributor hole and holds the priming rod exactly straight. But more importantly, it takes all the pressure off the oil pump rotors. The intermediate shaft in a big block Mopar is designed to "float" above the oil pump gears. Normally it's recommend to check for .050"-.070" of clearance between the hex end (bottom) of the intermediate shaft and the bottom of the oil pump gear during assembly. If there is no space there, and the shaft is bottoming out into the gear, it will press on the gear, causing it to grind into and score the oil pump cover. With a standard priming tool, it's very hard to take the pressure off of the tool when you've got a large electric 1/2" drill hanging off it it. With the adjustable collars on this tool, you can set the endplay exactly where you want it. And the adjustable collars also allow you to use it with any engine type, such as RB, B or even small block engines!
