Throttle Kickdown Rod Connector (without return spring hole) Chrysler made two styles of throttle kickdown rod connectors. One had a hole for the return spring, the other did not. We supply the complete linkage with the one with the hole, however for those who need or prefer the style without, we also offer this Throttle Kickdown Rod Connector (without return spring hole.)
Throttle Kickdown Rod Connector (with return spring hole) This is the slotted connector that slides back and forth on the carburetor linkage stud. Chrysler made two styles of throttle kickdown rod connectors. One had a hole for the return spring, the other did not. We offer this reproduction of Chrysler #2468744, which is the one with the hole for the return spring. This is the same one which is included in our complete linkage sets.
Carburetor to Cable Mounting Bracket Lever - 4BBL Only This is a reproduction of Chrysler part number 2899358 Carb to cable mounting bracket lever - 4bbl Carb - (This is the "upper" of the 3 rods which connects the throttle kickdown rod connector to the throttle kickdown lever) Also includes the matching special diameter washer and hairpin clip to secure it, (as pictured.) This is the same one we offer in our complete kickdown linkage kits.
Factory Throttle Cable Bracket - RB Only This is a reproduction of the factory Chrysler part number 2780876 throttle control mounting bracket (also sometimes called the Throttle cable bracket.) This bolts on using one of the intake manifold bolts and holds the throttle cable in place. It also provides the pivot axle for the throttle kickdown lever. This works for RB engines only, B engines use a slightly different bracket. This is the same bracket we supply in our complete RB engine kickdown kits. This includes the cable hold down tab and Koni Keps nut with secured washer, exactly as shown in the picture.
Factory Throttle Cable Bracket - B Engine Only This is a reproduction of the factory Chrysler part number 2863703 throttle control mounting bracket (also sometimes called the Throttle cable bracket.) This bolts on using one of the intake manifold bolts and holds the throttle cable in place. It also provides the pivot axle for the throttle kickdown lever. This works for B engines only, RB engines use a slightly different bracket. This is the same bracket we supply in our complete B engine kickdown kits. This includes the cable hold down tab and Koni Keps nut with secured washer, exactly as shown in the picture. For 4 speed applications, simply remove the pivot pin and spacer. With these parts removed, Chrysler supplied these as factory part number 2863704.
Throttle Kickdown Lever This is the upper lever that pivots off the throttle cable bracket axle and connects the "upper" rod to the "middle rod." Reproduction of Chrysler part number 2465413. Also includes the matching special diameter washer and hairpin clip to secure it. This is the same one included in our complete kickdown linkages.
Cable Bracket Lever to Trans Bellcrank Rod - 440 (RB) Engines This is a reproduction of the factory Chrysler cable mounting bracket lever to transmission bellcrank rod. This is the "middle" of the 3 rods, which connects the throttle kickdown lever to the transmission bellcrank lever. This lever is for RB (413/426/440) engines only. "B" Engines (361/383/400) use a different shorter lever since the deck height is lower, and this causes the intake manifold to sit lower, so this rod must be shorter for "B" engine applications. Reproduction of Chrysler part number 2843793. Supplied as shown in the picture, with lower clevis clip, and upper adjuster with Mopar 2121571 ball clip already installed.
Cable Bracket Lever to Trans Bellcrank Rod - 383/400 Engines We offer separately the cable bracket lever to transmission bellcrank rod, which is the "middle" rod used in Chrysler's 3 piece kickdown linkage assembly. This rod is a reproduction of Chrysler part number 2843797, used for low deck "B" engines only. Includes the adjusting link and attaching clip, as shown in the picture.
Transmission bellcrank lever Transmission bellcrank lever. This is the lower lever that bolts to the side of the transmission bellhousing and pivots to connect the "middle" rod to the "lower" rod. Reproduction of Chrysler part number 2843794.
Transmission Bellcrank Stud Assembly This is a reproduction of the transmission bellcrank stud assembly. The transmission bellcrank lever (offered separately) pivots on a double ended stud which is screwed into a threaded hole in the bellhousing of an automatic trans. We include a reproduction of the original stud (Chrysler part number 2658286), the correct flat washer (Chrysler part number 120394) and the hairpin clip (Chrysler part number 6025071.)
Transmission Bellcrank to Transmission Rod This is a reproduction of the transmission bellcrank to transmission rod. This is the "lower" of the 3 rods that connects the transmission bellcrank lever to the throttle control lever on the transmission itself. Reproduction of Chrysler part number 2899330. Includes the attaching clevis clip which secures it to the throttle control lever, as well as the Mopar 2121571 ball clip already installed on the end which attaches to the transmission bellcrank lever. Throttle control lever - 727 Torqueflight This a reproduction of the original Chrysler throttle control lever (sometimes called a throttle pressure lever.) This is the very last item at the bottom of the linkage, the lever that bolts onto the transmission itself. Reproduction of Chrysler part number 2536270. Includes the lever, bolt with lockwasher and square nut.
Throttle Bracket w/ OEM kickdown for Raised Intake - RB Eng We now offer this modified throttle bracket which is raised higher and designed to work with taller aftermarket intakes such as the Mopar M1, Edelbrock Performer RPM, etc, while retaining the factory OEM style 3 piece kickdown linkage. This version is for "RB" (413/426/440) engines only, we carry a different one for "B" (361/383/400) engines.

Throttle Kickdown Lever for Holley Double Pumper To help complete your throttle/kickdown linkage setup, we now offer this special bracket for using Holley carbs with factory Chrysler type throttle cables and 3 piece kickdown rod setups. This bolts to the carb, and holds the 109-1704 (#441) carb linkage stud, which actuates the slotted kickdown rod connector included in the kickdown linkage. A necessary part if you are running a Holley carb with a 727 kickdown linkage. Includes attaching hardware as shown.
Carburetor Linkage Stud Nut - Early Style w/ washer 1966- Mid 1970 We offer the special Carburetor Linkage Stud Nut which holds our 109-1704 Linkage Stud onto our 127-1042 Kickdown lever. This is the "early" style, which features the encapsulated (spinning) washer, which was used on cars from 1966 until mid 1970 model years. Use one per car.
Carburetor Linkage Stud Nut - Late Style w/ Flange - Mid 1970 - On We offer the special Carburetor Linkage Stud Nut which holds our 109-1704 Linkage Stud onto our 127-1042 Kickdown lever. This is the "LATE" style, which features the flange which is molded into the nut, which was used on cars from mid 1970 and later on model years. Use one per car.
Carburetor Linkage Stud We now carry an excellent reproduction of the original factory carburetor linkage stud. This bolts to the side of the carburetor linkage, (or our 127-1042 adapter bracket if you are using a Holley or equivalent carb) and the stud slides back and forth in the slot of the throttle kickdown rod connector. These are an exact reproduction of Chrysler part number 2806441, which was used from 1967 until early 69, but it will also work for many other years, just may not be 100% correct for a restoration. Includes special washer and hairpin cotter clips as shown.
