Internal / External Balance Black Damper Our new Internal / External Balance Black high strength steel dampers are a great choice for those who want a high quality replacement (elastomer style) damper that interchanges with a factory unit. These can be used for either forged crank (internal balance which includes our stroker kits) or factory 440 cast crank replacement applications. When using these for internal balance, simply unbolt the weight on the rear of the damper. For external balance 440 cast crank applications, just leave the weight on. These include nicely engraved timing marks to 60 degrees, and a symmetrical pulley bolt pattern. We have designed these dampers based on detailed factory specifications, to be sure there will be no problems with fit or finish. The flat black surface can easily be painted engine color if desired. A nice choice at a nice price for all big blocks, and for replacing used or damaged dampers on cast crank 440's, there's no better way to go. We now also offer our 200-1139 "Six Pack" external weight (sold below separately), which allow this damper to be used with factory six pack external balance applications.
Six Pack Balance Weight We also offer an additional external balance weight for use with our 200-1128 and 200-1158 dampers which allows them to replicate the balance of the factory Chrysler 3512017 "Six Pack" damper. This weight must be purchased separately. Use our 109-1571 bolt kit to attach this weight to the back of the damper.
Flexplate 6 bolt - Cast Crank Our new CAST CRANK flexplate is a great option for someone who has an original CAST CRANK 400 or 440 engine, and wants to use it with an aftermarket performance torque converter. Mopar started using cast cranks in passenger car 440's in mid 1973, and these engines can be identified by an "E" stamped into the machined pad to the right of the distributor. These engines originally came with torque converters that had weights welded on them, since these engines were external balance. These days, finding torque converters with the weights welded on them is nearly impossible, especially if you're looking for a performance or high stall converter. This flexplate has a cutout shape on one side which replicates the function of the weights, so you can run your cast crank engine with any normal internal balace converter, without having to worry about the weights. We've found these solid circular type of flexplates to be much stronger than the ones with the "ears," which look more like the factory type. These are strong enough to stay together behind even the highest horsepower applications, or they work great for hot street cars as well. These includes all possible bolt patterns; Large with 5/16" bolts, small with 5/16" bolts, and 7/16" bolts for all aftermarket high performance and racing high stall converters. This flexplate fits all standard 6 bolt crank flanges. A great value, identical to B&M 10237 at less than half the price!
Performance 12pt Crank Bolt with Heavy Washer Our Performance 12 point damper bolt is a great looking option that features grade 8 strength, black oxide coating, and a price that doesn't break the bank. This heavy duty bolt works great with all our performance dampers and includes the super thick custom washer as well.
Polished Chrome 12pt Crank Bolt with Heavy Washer Our Fully polished, triple chrome plated Performance 12 point damper bolt is a great looking option to hold the damper onto the crankshaft. MADE IN USA, these feature grade 8 strength at a price that doesn't break the bank. This heavy duty bolt works great with all our performance dampers and includes the super thick custom washer, also triple chrome plated and polished to a mirror like shine.
ARP Bolt Kit - 6 bolt Flexplate to Crank 7/16 Our ARP Flexplate to crank bolt kits are the strongest bolts you can get to attach a 6 bolt crank to flexplate for high horsepower and/or highly stressed applications. Made from 200,000 PSI forged aerospace alloy, these were originally developed for NASCAR winston cup competition. The bolts are fully heat treated prior to thread rolling and machining. Flat 12pt head design ensures no clearance problems during installation. These will also work for attaching the flexplate to the torque converter with Hemi or aftermarket racing torque converters that have 7/16" bolt holes (only 4 are required for this application, so you will have a couple spares.) If you have a stroker engine with aftermarket components, high stall, etc... these are must have item. You simply can not put in stronger bolts than these.
ARP Bolt Kit - Torque Converter 5/16 (Small) Our ARP torque converter to flexplate bolt kits are the strongest bolts you can get to attach your torque converter to flexplate for high horsepower and/or highly stressed applications. Made from 200,000 PSI forged aerospace alloy, these were originally developed for NASCAR winston cup competition. The bolts are fully heat treated prior to thread rolling and machining. Finished in black oxide for good looks and corrosion resistance. Flat 12pt head design ensures no clearance problems during installation. If you have a stroker engine with aftermarket components, high stall converter, etc... these are must have item. You simply can not put in stronger bolts than these. These are the smaller 5/16" bolts used for most stock type torque converters. For most performance torque converters, use our 7/16" bolt kit instead, which is part # 129-1052.
ARP Bolt Kit - Torque Converter 7/16 (Large) Our ARP torque converter to flexplate bolt kits are the strongest bolts you can get to attach your torque converter to flexplate for high horsepower and/or highly stressed applications. These are the larger 7/16" bolts used for most aftermarket performance torque converters. For most stock converters, use our 5/16" bolt kit instead, which is part # 129-1006.
