Premium Light Weight High Torque Mini Starter
On the market for over 17 years now, we've got thousands and thousands of our premium Lightweight High Torque Mini Starters in proven service all over the world. No where else can you find this kind of quality at this price. These are manufactured in an ISO9001 factory to very stringent quality control specs. This means there is a long checklist of specifications they must meet, such as a certain amount of copper in the windings, etc, etc. They are in use in everything from stock street cars to seven second dragsters and they work great. This unit weighs in at only 7 pounds, and the super powerful 1.4KW motor uses 4:1 gear reduction to spin even high compression big blocks with no problems. We get 'em from the same factory that makes them for the big name brands, but because we buy direct and in huge quantities, we can sell 'em for about half what the name brands get, with 100% of the same quality. You won't be disappointed with this unit! It will work with all Mopar V8 engines. Get them while they last, and don't forget to order a dust shield and attaching bolts (listed separately.)

Lightweight Starter Shield - New
When ordering a lightweight starter, don't forget our special NEW REPRODUCTION lightweight starter shield. These are a commonly overlooked detail included by the factory, but over the years they often get thrown away when starters are replaced. They seal up the cavity which contains the starter gear and shaft, which are usually coated with light grease. With no shield, dust and road grime stick to the grease and gum things up quickly. The lightweight starters have a slightly different nose profile than the large factory gear reduction starters, which leaves a large gap exposed if you try to use the original factory shields with them. This shield has the proper opening to fit the lightweight starter's nose and it is made from the same coated steel as the original Chrysler versions. Details like this make the difference. Fits all 727's and big blocks, all years, but these are for automatic transmissions only, they are not used with manual trans. cars.

Bolt Kit - Starter Attachment - Performance 12 Point
Our Performance 12 point bolt kits are a nice looking option that features grade 8 strength, black oxide coating, and with a price that doesn't break the bank. For those who prefer the flexibility of using bolts to attach the starter instead of the factory stud setup. This is usually better for performance engines with headers that require additional manuverability to get the starter around the header tubes, and then bolt it in once positioned in place. Custom matching, small diameter washers are also included with this kit.

Starter Attachment Bolt Kit
Shown here is our Starter attachment bolt kit. This includes everything you need to attach the starter just like the factory did. It includes the stud that threads into the upper attachment hole of the transmission bellhousing and guides the starter into place. Also includes the lockwasher, nut and special flanged bolt for the bottom attachment hole. These are BRAND NEW. Highly recommended when buying our lightweight mini starters.
