Fabricated Valve Covers (Pair) -Long Bolt with Breather Hole We now offer these Big Block fabricated aluminum valve covers. These feature a nice 1/4" thick rail and internal welded baffle to help stop those pesky valve cover leaks. These are the "long bolt" type, where the center 4 bolts extend to the top of the cover for easy access and additional internal clearance with roller rockers and high lift cams. Very nice stainless valve cover bolt hardware is also included. PLEASE NOTE: These are designed for factory Mopar cylinder heads, where the valve cover bolts are drilled at a 15 degree offset to the valve cover rail. Most aftermarket aluminum heads (including our Stealth heads, Trick Flow, Edelbrock and others) drill the valve cover bolts perpendicular to the rail. If you are planning on using these with aftermarket heads, you would need to install studs, and then bend the studs very slightly after installation so they align with the angle of the valve cover holes.

Valve Covers - Fabricated Aluminum (pair) USA MADE If you really want to get serious, our new 100% USA MADE fabricated aluminum fabricated valve covers are the EXACT SAME covers used on pro-stock and other professional racing classes. Normally sold by the high dollar fabrication companies,we're now making them in huge volume and by doing this we've been able to bring down the price considerably. Fully tig (heliarc) welded from aluminum sheet, at just under 3 1/2" tall, these will clear most any high lift cams and bulky rocker shaft holddowns. These use an incredibly beefy 3/8" thick solid billet flange, AND after the covers are welded, we fully CNC MILL the entire flange to make sure it's as flat and straight as an arrow. It's rare that even the high dollar sets will do this, usually they just lay them on a belt surfacer. Reduced head diameter valve cover bolts or studs, such as allen or 12pt heads are recommended. These are available from us under part number 129-1030. These covers come without any breather holes, to allow you to use a simple holesaw or punch to position the breathers and/or oil fill caps exactly where you need them. These are every bit as well made as they look in the pictures. Please note: Sheet aluminum is very soft! Even sliding it across a table will cause very small scratches. We try to be as careful as possible during manufacture, but occasionally there will be some small surface scratches on some of the covers resulting from normal handling during the manufacturing process. When the sheet aluminum is bent in a brake, sometimes the brake will leave a small line where it pushed up against the aluminum to shape it. This is stuff you would find with any fabricated aluminum parts due to the soft nature of aluminum. The vast majority of our customers would never give any of this a second thought, but we have had some people who are VERY particular. If you consider yourself very, very particular about this kind of stuff, we would recommend you have someone either powder coat these covers, or polish them to a mirror finish. This looks great and will remove any trace of surface imperfections. When used with Edelbrock Victor heads, the inside of the rail may need to be clearanced. Because these covers are made for maximum room under the cover (for rocker clearance) the outside edge may interfere with larger diameter (Pro-Billet style) aftermarket distributors. We recommend using the standard diameter billet distributor (such as our 117-1000 or 117-1026) for extra clearance in this area.

Sold as a pair (2 covers.) We recommend using our 109-1556 bolt kit with these covers.
CNC Aluminum Breather Shown here is our new fully CNC machined billet breather. This is about the nicest breather you'll find anywhere. Machined from a solid piece of billet aluminum, then polished to a mirror-like finish, these look great with our fabbed valve covers. The bottom of this breather pushes into a 1" grommet (121-1034.)
Made as a two piece design, the upper and lower half unscrew to hold a serviceable foam element . Actual shape/appearance may differ slightly from the picture. May or may not include ball milling on the top. Call us to check stock if you have a specific preference.
CNC Aluminum Oil Cap Shown above is our new fully CNC machined billet oil cap. This is one of the nicest billet parts we've ever seen, hands down. These are machined from a solid piece of billet aluminum, then the top is polished to a super clean mirror-like finish.
Filter Style Breather Shown here is our new filter style breather. Designed like a 'mini air cleaner" these allow the engine to breathe freely as needed. Economically priced and great for racing or street use, these are 3" tall and fit a standard 1 1/4" valve cover hole. Similar to the "K&N style" breathers, these feature a molded in rubber grommet in the base, so no extra grommets or other pieces are needed, the breather itself fits right into the valve cover hole.
Mopar Style Breather - Chrome Plated - New Offered at a great price for those budget builds, these breathers are styled very similar to the original factory Mopar units. They work great for a factory type setup with a PCV valve on one cover and a breather on the other which connects to the air cleaner. The bottom of this breather pushes into a 1" grommet. Internal steel baffling helps to prevent any oil from splashing up into and getting through the breather.
PCV Valve - Aftermarket Valve Covers For those who want to run a PCV valve on one side of the engine, we now offer these. They are designed to fit aftermarket valve covers which use our 121-1075 grommets, which feature an inner diameter of 3/4". The barbed nipple on the top fits any standard 3/8" rubber hose, which connects to a vacuum port on the intake manifold or carburetor. Please note, these do not fit factory valve covers, only aftermarket ones. PCV stands for Positive Crankcase Ventilation. The crankcase holds your motor oil and is located at the bottom of your engine. When fuel is burned in your engine, it produces waste gases that are mostly vented out through your exhaust system. But some of these gases push their way past the pistons and into the crankcase. There, these gases can mix with motor oil to produce oil sludge, which can damage vehicle engine parts through corrosion and by clogging engine passages. If the engine is running at high speeds, these gases can also cause pressure inside the crankcase to build up. This pressure, in turn, can blow gaskets and damage seals, leading to oil leaks.
The waste gases that leave the engine are comprised of about 70% unburned fuel. They used to be vented off the crankcase into the atmosphere. But starting in 1964, laws mandated that these gases be recaptured. Manufacturers began installing PCV systems, which recycled the gases into the air intake system where they could be mixed with fuel and sent to the engine to be burned.
The PCV valve is a one-way valve attached to the crankcase. Waste gases exit the crankcase through the valve but cannot enter.
Over time, the waste gases leave deposits on the PCV valve that can gum it up. So it needs to be replaced occasionally. This is an inexpensive part of preventive maintenance that is often overlooked, but which can have very expensive consequences. It’s good advice to keep this little valve clean and working well.
ARP Stud Kit (long) - Valve Covers This ARP black oxide valve cover stud kit is designed to work with our fabricated valve covers (part #200-1052) which have a 3/8" rail. Using studs for the valve covers allows the gasket to be properly positioned while the valve cover is guided into position. Bullet nosed studs allow for easy installation of covers and easy threading of nuts. Special reduced flange diameter 12 point nuts help to give the most possible clearance in tight fit situations. Includes 12 studs, nuts and washers. Finished in black oxide for good looks and corrosion resistance.
Bolt Kit - Valve Covers (Short) - Performance 12 Point Our Performance 12 point bolt kits are a nice looking option that features grade 8 strength, black oxide coating, and with a price that doesn't break the bank. This kit includes all 12 bolts you need to attach the valve covers to the cylinder heads. This is our "SHORT" (3/4" length) bolt kit which works great with valve covers that have a thinner flange such as most chrome stamped steel or factory type covers or fabricated covers that use a flange that is 1/4" or thinner. Custom matching, small diameter washers are also included with this kit.
Bolt Kit - Valve Covers (Long) - Performance 12 Point Our Performance 12 point bolt kits are a nice looking option that features grade 8 strength, black oxide coating, and with a price that doesn't break the bank. This kit includes all 12 bolts you need to attach the valve covers to the cylinder heads. This is our "LONG" (1" length) bolt kit which works great with valve covers that have a thick flange such as most cast aluminum covers or fabricated covers that use a flange thicker than 1/4". Custom matching, small diameter washers are also included with this kit.
1 1/4 to 3/4 Rubber Grommet - New Shown here is our PCV grommet. These act as a gasket between our 138-1037 PCV valve and the valve cover, and reduce the diameter from 1 1/4" to 3/4" which allows the PCV valve (or any other accessories requiring a 3/4" inner hole) to fit perfectly in the valve cover. Quantity 1 per package.
Valve Cover Gaskets (pair) Rubber with Steel Core Our premium valve cover gaskets are designed to withstand the extreme pressure and vaccuum conditions found in the crankcases of high performance engines. They feature a steel core covered in molded nitrile rubber. This helps these re-usable gaskets to keep their shape and works to prevent leaks time after time of use. Includes package of (2) gaskets.
Valve Cover Gaskets - Pair We now offer replacement valve cover gaskets. These are made from standard cork material and sold in pairs (2). They are the same gaskets which are included in our complete gasket kit. We now offer them separately for convenience when changing valve covers, etc.
