Ductile Iron Adjustable Rocker Set - 1.5 Ratio Finally! We have re-released the Big Block Mopar Ductile iron rockers. Known for their rock solid reliability, these were first released by Ma Mopar on Max Wedge setups in the early 60's. Later copied in the aftermarket by Isky and Crane, these have long since been discontinued, but now we have brought them back! This set includes 16 arms along with adjusters and locknuts, 2 shafts and 8 springs. (One spring goes between each pair of rockers.) Ball and cup style pushrods are required. For holddowns, they will work with our factory stock type holddowns (part number 109-1557, order a quantity of 2) but for better results, use our billet aluminum holddowns, part number 200-1032. Also, if you would like to replace the springs for a more accurate setup, our 113-1018 rocker spacers can be used along with our 105-1018 shims to precision dial in the setup and make sure each rocker is exactly centered over each valve.
Aluminum Rocker Holddown Set Our billet aluminum rocker holddown sets are fully machined from 6061 T-6 aluminum, blue anodized for good looks, and include 12 point Grade 8 hardware (bolts and washers.) These work great with our aluminum roller rocker sets or most any aftermarket type roller rockers. Compare to Mopar Performance P5249714.
Bolt Kit - Rocker Hold downs - Factory Style USA Made exact reproduction of the factory style rocker hold down brackets and bolts. These have the correct locating tabs on the side just like the factory originals did, to ensure your stock stamped steel rockers have the perfect side clearance when running. Great for replacing worn, missing or damaged originals. We even include grade 8 bolts, which are about 20% stronger than the orignals that the factory used. These are designed to be used along with our 109-1544 factory rocker spacers. One part number includes 3 short brackets and 2 long ones, enough to do ONE SIDE of the engine. For a complete engine, order a quantity of 2 of these kits.
Rocker Shaft .650 Spacers (Set of 8) - New As a compliment to our aluminum roller rocker sets, we recommend these .650 wide spacers which fit between each pair of intake and exhaust rockers and keep the rockers located where they are supposed to be on the shafts.
Rocker Shaft .015 Shims (approx 36) - New With any performance type aftermarket roller rockers, it is necessary to "set up" the valvetrain. Because of different cylinder heads/tolerances/past machine work, etc, the exact positioning of the valves can vary slightly. A large part of setting up a performance valvetrain involves using shims to position the rocker arms at the correct point on the shaft so that the roller tip is exactly centered or aligned over the valve stem tip. We offer these packages of special .015" thick rocker shaft shims for this purpose. They are supplied in packages of approx. 36 per package. We have found some engines to use only one package, but many engines will require two packages, depending on how much "free space" the washers must fill and how tight you wish to adjust the rockers (we recommend .015"-.030" of play.) Use these in conjunction with the correct spacers and shaft holddowns to position the rockers where they need to be. We recommend using these with all of our aftermarket roller rockers, as well as rockers from other aftermarket companies. Not needed with stock stamped type rockers.
Rocker Shaft Shims (pkg. of 30) A large part of setting up a performance valvetrain involves using these shims to check and adjust the wear pattern of the rocker tip. This can be thought of as how the rocker "wipes" across the valve face and back. Adding, and/or subtracting these shims underneath the rocker shafts allows you to setup this spec. the way you want it. We offer these shim packages for this purpose.
