Billet 3 Bolt 9 Way Adj. Timing Chain Set - New
The BEST option. For all roller cams, this set is the only way to go, since it comes with a pre installed TORRINGTON BEARING on the back of the cam gear. This 3 bolt 9 way adjustable billet timing chain set includes fully machined billet sprockets which are MADE IN THE USA, and a heavy duty chain that uses independent seamless (true) rollers. Detailed instructions for installation are included. One of the best sets on the market, at any price. Details of chainset appearance may vary slightly from the picture.

Billet 3 Bolt 3 Way Adj. Timing Chain Set - New
The BETTER option: A very very nice AMERICAN MADE 3 bolt billet steel double roller set. Both the 3 bolt cam and 3 way adjustable crank gears are first fully machined out of 1141 billet steel. After machining, they are run through a vibratory tumbler to remove all sharp edges. When the sharp edges of other competitors chains are viewed through a jeweler's loupe (try this yourself..), they are full of scraps and hanging burrs, many of which will end up in the oil pump and/or bearings after a few hours of operation. After the tumbler, the gears are hand filed, and then the crank gear is heat treated to a Rockwell hardness of 50 on the C scale (nearly twice the hardness of other competing chain sets,) and then run through the tumbler AGAIN, fully removing all the burrs and scraps mentioned above. This set includes a Rolon chain that uses heavy duty independent seamless rollers. The crank gear is also 3 way adjustable, allowing the camshaft to be installed "straight up" (0deg/factory,) retarded or advanced. No other manufacturer takes the time and effort to put their products through as many painstaking (and expensive) manufacturing processes as these chainsets go through. Shop around and you will find that there is not a timing set anywhere that comes close to this quality for anywhere near this price. For an amazing AMERICAN MADE value, this set takes the cake!

Belt Drive - Australian Muscle Parts
When you want the best, this is it. AMP has been making belt drives for decades, and no other timing system offers this kind of accuracy, ease of adjustment, super simple cam changes, etc. Change cam timing just by loosening the bolts on the cam gear, and then just slide it to where you want it. An engraved scale includes positive and negative marks up to 10 degrees, in 2 degree increments. If you want to change it by one degree, just put the mark inbetween the two lines. And if you want to change cams, they come right out without pulling the belt drive or oil pan. So no ruined gaskets and minimal mess. Great for the dyno or adjustments at the track. And if you really want to see some jaws drop, run it on the street... This new version is black anodized and includes a German made belt. Fits all big blocks including Hemi's and aftermarket blocks.

Don't forget to order a cam button with your three bolt timing set. These are great for setting the end play on your camshaft. While they are absolutely required for a roller cam, they are also highly recommended for use with a solid or hydraulic to make sure everything is kept exactly where it should be. This full rollerized button is the best one we've found on the market. These work with our 3 bolt timing sets 114-1001 and 102-1004, or any other sets which feature a .750" (3/4") diameter center hole. The length on this button is .715" long. We recommend setting roller cam end play between .005" and .010". These work best with stamped steel type timing covers.

These work with our 3 bolt timing sets 114-1001 and 102-1004, or any other sets which feature a .750" (3/4") diameter center hole. The length on this button is about .750" long. We recommend setting roller cam end play between .005" and .010".
