We offer these high pressure oil pump relief valve springs. These are the same springs which used to be sold by Mopar Performance and can be used in any pump to increase the pressure. These are the same springs supplied by Melling in their M63HV (high volume) and M63HP (high pressure) pumps. These springs will "generally" produce about 70 PSI at above idle RPM's, however pressure can vary greatly depending on bearing clearance, oil viscosity and a host of other factors, so every engine can be different. We recommend using our 200-1093 adjustable oil pressure regulator (along with this spring) to dial in your oil pressure exactly where you want it to be. This is best to do with a drill while priming your engine. These are made from .075" wire, and on a spring testing machine, they will generate approximately 24 pounds of pressure when compressed to 1.500" height.
