Silicone Rear Seal End Strips Kit
We also offer upgraded silicone rubber rear seal end strips. These are the small strips which fit down the sides of the rear seal cap and seal it to the block. These are a huge improvement over the standard style paper or cardboard strips. Silicone is considered a much better material to use for these rear seal end strip applications. One more way to combat those pesky rear seal leaks. These fit all big blocks, all years. Our 144-1001 kit includes a package of (2) end strips. Color may be orange or blue, depending on stock.

Viton Rear Seal
We also offer an upgraded VITON fluoroelastomer rear seal. Viton is made by Dupont, and has much greater resistance to high temperatures than standard rubber. It also doesn't have a tendency to dry out and shrink over time while sitting, which makes it a great choice for cars which will sit for months or weeks in between being driven. Overall, Viton is considered a top of the line material to use for rear seal applications. One more way to combat those pesky rear seal leaks. These fit all big blocks, all years. Oil Pump Gasket
We now offer replacement oil pump gaskets. For some strange reason, these are not offered separately or included in ANY gasket sets from any of the major gasket suppliers such as Fel-pro, Victor, Rol, etc, and they are nearly impossible to find. Many of the gasket companies list "Oil Pump Gasket" in their catalogs, but under the description, the part is listed as an "o-ring", so it is actually the standard rubber o-ring which fits around the drive area of the pump, not the gasket. So, we've sourced these hard to find gaskets and now offer them for sale separately. Another "pain in the butt" big block Mopar problem made simple and inexpensive by 440 Source!

ARP Bolt Kit - 6 bolt Flexplate to Crank 7/16 - Automatic Transmission
Our ARP Flexplate to crank bolt kits are the strongest bolts you can get to attach a 6 bolt crank to flexplate for high horsepower and/or highly stressed applications. Made from 200,000 PSI forged aerospace alloy, these were originally developed for NASCAR winston cup competition. The bolts are fully heat treated prior to thread rolling and machining. Flat 12pt head design ensures no clearance problems during installation. Water Temp Sending Unit - W/ Gauge - Disc Type
We offer water temp sending units for factory and most aftermarket electrical gauges. These fit in the small 1/8" pipe threads on the top drivers side of our aluminum water pump housings, and work with cars which included factory temp gauges. There are two different versions of this sending unit. This one uses a small disc on the top, which a spade connector slips over and locks onto. The other style (listed separately) has a threaded stud which uses an eyelet on the end of the wire, and his held on by a nut. Order the type you need depending on which connector you have on the end of your wiring harness. Another often overlooked part which can be hard to find at times. Don't let these little items hold up your build. These are a premium part, still made in the good old US of A.

Alternator Bracket kit - Factory Style - New
For those that want original factory looking parts we now offer our BRAND NEW REPRODUCTION 100% USA made factory style alternator bracket set. These come in a powder coated black finish. They have all the curves and holes exactly like the factory ones did, including the two upper holes which fit both low deck "B" (361-383-400) and raised deck "RB" (413-426-440) engines. ARP Stud Kit (long) - Valve Covers

Sheet Metal Valley Pan - RB Engine - Single Plane
Our fabricated sheet metal valley pans work great with our aluminum Stealth heads, Edelbrock RPM heads, Trick Flow 240's AND 270's, or any other aftermarket heads which feature an unbroken deck surface where the lower edge of the head's deck surface meets the edge of the valley pan. They will also work with factory cylinder heads, however there may be a small gap where the lower deck surface has a break which may need to be filled with silicone, depending on the intake manifold you are using. The pan is shown upside down in the picture. When it is installed, the "lips" along the long sides will fit underneath the edge of the cylinder heads, making a tight seal and allowing the use of standard intake port gaskets. This pan is designed to work with SINGLE PLAIN INTAKES only. Dual plane intakes (including stock units) will not fit due to the exhaust crossover which hangs down underneath them. We do have some other models which may work if you are using a dual plane intake Because this pan is a single solid piece which fits "under" the cylinder head intake face edges, it requires at least one cylinder head to be off during installation or removal. Supplied in a gold irridite finish for good looks and corrosion resistance. We carry these in two different versions, one for the "RB" (413/426/440) engines and one for the "B" (361/383/400) engines. Be sure to select the correct one for the type of engine you are working on.

ARP 5.200 Special Main Girdle Stud - ONE PIECE
We now carry the special 5.200" long ARP studs which are supplied in our main girdle kit. These feature the extra long threads on the top end of the stud to allow for the extra thickness of the girdle plate, shims and hold down nuts. Comp Cams Super Lock 11/32 10deg. Valve Locks
Shown here is our Comp Cams 10 degree "Super Locks." These are a huge, extremely beefy valve lock which has a wider angle of interference than a standard 7 degree lock. These are fully machined (not stamped) from a super tough fatigue resistant alloy. Comp recommends these for any cams over .460" lift. These fit 11/32 valve stems, which can be found on most aftermarket aluminum heads (such as our Stealth heads or Edelbrock RPM's,) and they work great with our Comp "Super Lock" retainers, part number 145-1003 or 145-1006, which can be found on our Valve Retainers page. 1/4 Main Girdle Setup
Our 100% USA MADE girdle setups are just the ticket to add the ultimate in strength to the bottom end of your high horsepower big block Mopar. Absolutely recommended for builds over 600 horsepower. During engine operation, the power and twisting force of the engine can cause the main studs and caps to distort under load. Normally, the block is doing the best it can to hold all these forces together, however stock blocks were originally designed in the 1950's for engines making 300-400 horsepower, topps. Today's stroker engines with long armed cranks can make 600-800 horsepower without much trouble at all. All those increased crank strokes act like a longer prybar during operation, greatly increasing the available leverage, which in turn multiplies the internal loads the engine has to deal with by several times. Under these heavier loads, the main studs can act a little like a "flagpole or antenna in the wind." With nothing to hold them steady, they can sway back and forth and side to side, causing the main caps to move or distort under stress, or even "jump" slightly off the block (known as capwalk.) All this can lead to possible main cap and/or bearing damage or failure. In a worst case scenario, this flexing can even lead to the block cracking down the center. These girdles act similar to the way in which the guide wires on a flagpole or antenna would work. They anchor the outer or lower end of the main studs, and keep them in place under serious loads. They also help to generally tie together and strengthen the bottom end. By directly connecting the block's deep oil pan "skirt" to the blocks main cap & stud assembly, (which, in turn, is connected directly to the center of the block or the "core" of the engine) they help all components of the engine's bottom end to be linked together into one solid, interconnected assembly. This is a HUGE improvement over the factory's arrangement, where all the components of the bottom end (main caps & studs, oil pan rails, etc are all separate non connected components which protrude from center core of the engine block. We make these from super strong 1/4" solid steel plate, (not 3/16" aluminum like some of the others we've found on the market.) We've found 1/4" to be thick enough to do a great job, but not so thick that it causes interference hassles with the oil pan to k-member clearance, etc. This setup includes all the hardware needed to install, including oil pan studs and bolts, assorted thicknesses of custom shim packs, main studs, nuts, hardened washers, etc. All the main studs, nuts and washers are custom made 190,000 PSI pieces sourced directly from ARP, so you know the quality is top notch. The girdle is clamped and held in place with double nuts (both on TOP and underneath, so there is no distortion or movement.) If your block has already been machined with studs, those studs can be replaced with the studs included with our girdle without a problem. If your block currently has bolts, it will need to be re-line honed because replacing bolts with studs will cause the main housing bores to distort slightly. Detailed installation instructions are included with this kit. It technically "can" be installed with the engine still in the car, but sure is a heck of a lot easier to do it with the engine flipped over on a stand. A great value and some of the best insurance you can buy! While our girdle setup does work great with factory main caps, if you want the absolute ultimate in strength, (short of an aftermarket block) use this with our aftermarket billet main caps!

Comp Cams Engine Break In Oil Additive
Along with the purchase of any Comp cam and lifters, we also strongly recommend using Comp's engine break in oil additive. This is it essential to make sure your cam and lifters are fully covered under Comp's warranty. It's a well known fact that, due to EPA regulations and other reasons, over the last few years oil manufacturers have removed the Zinc and other additives from their motor oil. If you try to break in a brand new cam and just add regular "off the shelf" motor oil from your local parts store, it is VERY likely you will have a failure. You must add this additive to the oil to replenish the zinc which is no longer included by the oil manufacturers. This works with synthetics, blended, and standard petroleum oils. In our own engines, we usually get a couple extra bottles to keep on the shelf and add one at every oil change. It's cheap insurance.

ARP Ultra-Torque Assembly Lube - 1.69oz Tube
Whenever you order bolts, don't forget a tube of ARP assembly lubricant. ARP's new "Ultra-Torque" is a special new blend of PFTE lube which ensures the correct torque will be reached on the first pull, so there is no longer any need to "cycle" the fastener (or loosen and tighten it several times), which has been the case with ARP's regular "Moly Lube" This lube is essential to get correct torque on the head, rod and main bolts, and it doesn't hurt to put it on misc other engine bolts as well. One tube is usually enough to do 4 or 5 complete engines, so it's a good investment to keep around the shop.

Power Steering Pump - Saginaw w/keyed shaft

Adjustable Checking Pushrod RB

Adjustable Oil Pressure Regulator
Our new adjustable oil pressure relief valve is a great accessory for your big block Mopar. This unit simply screws in and replaces the original plug which holds in the oil pressure relief plunger and spring. This plug is drilled and tapped in the center with an adjusting screw which can be screwed in or out as desired. The screw is surrounded by a special liquid tight o-ring seal to eliminate leaks, and held in place by a nylon lock nut & washer. Screwing the plug in will put more pressure on the relief spring and raise the oil pressure, while screwing the plug out will release the pressure on the spring, and cause the oil pressure to drop. You can use this to adjust your oil pressure where you like it (within a reasonable range), even while the engine is running! (Challenge your Chevy buddies to try that one!) Works great for offsetting pressure loss or gain from specific bearing clearances, certain oil viscosities, etc, etc. Works with ALL oil pumps including factory pumps, aftermarket Melling pumps and Racing style billet aluminum pumps.

Valve Covers - Fabricated Aluminum (pair) USA MADE
If you really want to get serious, our new 100% USA MADE fabricated aluminum fabricated valve covers are the EXACT SAME covers used on pro-stock and other professional racing classes. Normally sold by the high dollar fabrication companies,we're now making them in huge volume and by doing this we've been able to bring down the price considerably. Fully tig (heliarc) welded from aluminum sheet, at just under 3 1/2" tall, these will clear most any high lift cams and bulky rocker shaft holddowns. These use an incredibly beefy 3/8" thick solid billet flange, AND after the covers are welded, we fully CNC MILL the entire flange to make sure it's as flat and straight as an arrow. It's rare that even the high dollar sets will do this, usually they just lay them on a belt surfacer. Reduced head diameter valve cover bolts or studs, such as allen or 12pt heads are recommended. These are available from us under part number 129-1030. These covers come without any breather holes, to allow you to use a simple holesaw or punch to position the breathers and/or oil fill caps exactly where you need them. These are every bit as well made as they look in the pictures. Please note: Sheet aluminum is very soft! Even sliding it across a table will cause very small scratches. We try to be as careful as possible during manufacture, but occasionally there will be some small surface scratches on some of the covers resulting from normal handling during the manufacturing process. When the sheet aluminum is bent in a brake, sometimes the brake will leave a small line where it pushed up against the aluminum to shape it. This is stuff you would find with any fabricated aluminum parts due to the soft nature of aluminum. The vast majority of our customers would never give any of this a second thought, but we have had some people who are VERY particular. If you consider yourself very, very particular about this kind of stuff, we would recommend you have someone either powder coat these covers, or polish them to a mirror finish. This looks great and will remove any trace of surface imperfections. When used with Edelbrock Victor heads, the inside of the rail may need to be clearanced. Because these covers are made for maximum room under the cover (for rocker clearance) the outside edge may interfere with larger diameter (Pro-Billet style) aftermarket distributors. We recommend using the standard diameter billet distributor (such as our 117-1000 or 117-1026) for extra clearance in this area.

3/8" Cut to Fit Pushrod Set, .062" wall, 10.00" Max Length - CHROME MOLY
Our new cut to fit pushrod sets are just what you need if you don't know exactly what your finished pushrod length should be. These 3/8" .062" wall pushrods are made from heavy duty aircraft quality 4130 CHROME MOLY steel. They come with the 3/8" ball end (bottom end) of the pushrods assembled, however the top (cup) end comes unassembeled, so that you can cut the tubing down to the exact length you need. The cups on these are designed for a 5/16" ball size on the bottom of the rocker adjuster. Maximum length is 10.00" (if they were put together without shortening the length,) and these pushrods can be cut down to any length shorter than that. While we recommend cutting the tubing on a lathe for the straightest possible cut, if you are in a pinch, these can also be cut with a cutoff wheel. The ends can be pressed in with a press, or (in a pinch) tapped in with a mallet if necessary. Sheet Metal Valley Pan - RB Engine - Dual Plane
This valley pan is the same as our single plain models, except it features a clearance well which will clear the exhaust crossover found in the Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold. It DOES NOT work with stock cast iron intakes, the Edelbrock standard Performer, or any others. These also work well with our aluminum Stealth heads, Edelbrock RPM heads, or any other aftermarket heads which feature an unbroken deck surface where the lower edge of the head's deck surface meets the edge of the valley pan. It will also work with factory cylinder heads, however there may be a small gap where the lower deck surface has a break which may need to be filled with silicone, depending on the intake manifold you are using. Because this pan is a single solid piece which fits "under" the cylinder head intake face edges, it requires at least one cylinder head to be off during installation or removal. Supplied in a gold irridite finish for good looks and corrosion resistance. This version fits the "RB" (413/426/440) engines.

Billet 3 Bolt 3 Way Adj. Timing Chain Set - New
The BETTER option: A very very nice AMERICAN MADE 3 bolt billet steel double roller set. Both the 3 bolt cam and 3 way adjustable crank gears are first fully machined out of 1141 billet steel. After machining, they are run through a vibratory tumbler to remove all sharp edges. When the sharp edges of other competitors chains are viewed through a jeweler's loupe (try this yourself..), they are full of scraps and hanging burrs, many of which will end up in the oil pump and/or bearings after a few hours of operation. After the tumbler, the gears are hand filed, and then the crank gear is heat treated to a Rockwell hardness of 50 on the C scale (nearly twice the hardness of other competing chain sets,) and then run through the tumbler AGAIN, fully removing all the burrs and scraps mentioned above. This set includes a Rolon chain that uses heavy duty independent seamless rollers. The crank gear is also 3 way adjustable, allowing the camshaft to be installed "straight up" (0deg/factory,) retarded or advanced. No other manufacturer takes the time and effort to put their products through as many painstaking (and expensive) manufacturing processes as these chainsets go through. Shop around and you will find that there is not a timing set anywhere that comes close to this quality for anywhere near this price. For an amazing AMERICAN MADE value, this set takes the cake!

Comp Cams Pro Magnum Hydraulic Lifters - Set of 16
Comp's Pro Magnum (Anti Pump Up Style) premium hydraulic lifters are the recommended choice for all the Comp Hydraulic cams we sell above. These are mandatory for any type of racing use, or in any application in which the engine will see over 5000-6000 RPM. At these higher RPM's Comp has done extensive testing. They have found not only were the Pro-Magnums good for about 10-15 more horsepower, but they also do not succumb to lifter "pump-up," a condition where the internal piston inside the lifter can fill up with oil and not have enough time to drain or "bleed down." This can result in the piston being in an improper position as it "pumps up," which can lead to holding valves open, which in turn can lead to greatly reduced power output, or in some cases (if that open valve happens to strike a piston top) there can be extreme engine failure. These must be used with an adjustable type of valve train, such as adjustable rocker arms (preferably roller rockers) along with the associated pushrods required. These lifters are considered essential to ensure that your cam has the longest possible life and is fully covered under Comp's warranty policy. And, since this is Comp we're talking about, you can be assured of two things: The product is 100% made in the USA, and the quality is second to none. Seat height on these is 1.84". The "cup" in these lifters will fit ONLY a 5/16" ball size on the pushrod.

ARP Bolt Kit - Torque Converter 7/16 (Large)
Our ARP torque converter to flexplate bolt kits are the strongest bolts you can get to attach your torque converter to flexplate for high horsepower and/or highly stressed applications. Made from 200,000 PSI forged aerospace alloy, these were originally developed for NASCAR winston cup competition. The bolts are fully heat treated prior to thread rolling and machining. Finished in black oxide for good looks and corrosion resistance. Flat 12pt head design ensures no clearance problems during installation. If you have a stroker engine with aftermarket components, high stall converter, etc... these are must have item. You simply can not put in stronger bolts than these. These are the larger 7/16" bolts used for most aftermarket performance torque converters. For most stock converters, use our 5/16" bolt kit instead, which is part # 129-1006.
