Pushrod Measuring Fixture

Our pushrod measuring fixture is the quick, easy and extremely accurate way to measure any pushrod or checking pushrod to the thousandth of an inch. Machined from a solid 4 pound block of steel, these are designed for a lifetime of use, and can measure either ball and cup or ball and ball type pushrods. These are extremely easy to use. Simply press the "on/off" button to turn the display on. Then, slide the measuring tip all the way to the left (in the closed position) and zero it by pressing the "zero" button. Then, slide it back to the right, insert your pushrod or locked down checking pushrod into the groove, then slide it back to the left until it touches the pushrod, and you are looking at the exact length. These have two uses. If you have a set of pushrods laying around which you don't know the length of, you can use this to check them. Or, if you've setup your valvetrain with a checking pushrod, you can use this to exactly measure the checking pushrod, so you will know exactly what length of pushrods you will need. This was something we built for ourselves to have in our shop, and everyone who saw one asked us where we got it. So, we decided to make a limited production run of them and offer them for sale. Accepts pushrods up to a maximum length of 12 inches, pushrod shown in the picture is not included. Runs on a CR2032 lithium battery, which IS included.
