Finally, a reproduction of the factory oil pans which feature the large "tie rod" dimple which is necessary when putting a big block into an "A" body or "C" body application. These are similar to the hard to find "187" or "699" factory pans, however the sump has been made deeper at about 5 3/4" inches, for a larger 6 quart oil capacity, and baffles have been added to the interior to help with oil control. With the half century old 187 and 699 pans getting very hard to find, and the ones that are out there looking extremely beat up, these are a great answer for those big block engine swaps. Made of heavy gauge, thick steel. Our 101-1009 oil pickup works great with this pan.
