Oil Pan - 6 quart - 67-69 Big Block A Body - EXTRA THICK

If you've got a 1967-69 A body that you drive on the street, this is THE PAN to use! Because these hold 6 quarts (plus the one in the filter for 7 total), they allow you to run a high volume oil pump, which is much more desirable for performance applications. And because they are an exactly shaped reproduction of the factory oil pan (OEM Chrysler part number 2863892) that came on original big block 1967-69 A body cars, you can be sure it will be a 100% perfect fit. AND, they dont hang any lower than a factory pan and offer optimum ground clearance for street driving. No more worrying about scraping the oil pan on those speed bumps or steep driveways. They also include all the internal oil baffles, just like the factory made them for the original Big Block A Bodies. They even include the original "893" number stamped into them.

But the best part, normally the original factory pans, and the "Made in Taiwan" reproductions on the market are usually made out of steel which is about .049" thick. We've reproduced these in our EXTRA THICK steel, which is about .083" thick, or about 70% thicker than normal. The extra thickness not only helps to keep the pan more rigid and the pan rails straight and flat, but it also helps if you should accidentally scrape the pan on that odd speed bump or driveway. This pan is supplied in a in a very nice black electroplated finish, the same process used in modern replacement body parts. Can be installed as-is or painted if desired.
