Oil Pan - 6 quart - 1962- 1965 B Body - Black Electroplate

Our 6 quart performance Big Block pan is a great choice for those 1962-1965 B bodies. Because these hold 6 quarts (plus the one in the filter for 7 total), they allow you to run a high volume oil pump, which is much more desirable for performance applications. And because they are an exact reproduction of the factory early B body Max Wedge pan (Chrysler part number 2402307) they are factory designed by Chrysler to fit this chassis exactly. Even though the sump is large enough to hold six quarts, the factory engineers designed it perfectly to not have any interference with the K member on the front end and steering centerlink in the rear. Plus, they dont hang down any lower than a factory pan and offer optimum ground clearance for street driving. No more worrying about scraping the oil pan on those speed bumps or steep driveways. They also include all the front and rear internal oil baffles, just like the factory made them for the Max Wedge engines. Pan depth is about 4 1/2". We recommend using our 111-1007 oil pickup, available on our oil pickups page. This pan is supplied in a in a very nice black finish, can be installed as-is or painted engine color if desired.
