Melling M-63HP High Pressure oil pump assembly. For engines which have factory capacity oil pans, we have found that the high volume pump can sometimes suck the pan dry, resulting in bearing damage. For those factory capacity (non deep sump) engines, the high pressure pump is a great alternative. You still get the added benefit of oil which is being pumped at a higher pressure, without the added volume which can suck the smaller capacity pans dry. Completely brand new, assembled and ready to install. Currently, the only manufacturer of aftermarket oil pumps for the big block Chrysler is Melling Engine Parts.
