Detailed Description

We now offer an exact reproduction of these factory Chrysler engine support brackets which were used on B bodies from 1962-65. The RH (passenger side) bracket (2268220 - the one with the notch, shown on the left side in the picture) is also used on 1965 C bodies with our 101-1067 insulator. Great replacement brackets for missing or damaged originals on factory big block cars, or for transplanting a big block into a factory small block B body of the above years. No k member changes are required. Use with our 101-1067 & 101-1068 insulators (one per side). Sold as a set only. These will work as is for 1963-1965, however for use in a 1962 model year vehicle, they require additional adapter plates. This was because 1962 was the first year Chrysler transitioned from the floating power style mount to the separate insulator/bracket setup. In 1962, the engines came supplied with the brackets, however Chrysler was not able to redesign the K members in time to fit the newer style insulators & brackets, so they made an adapter which allows the insulators to bolt onto a k-member designed for the flat tabs of the floating power mounts. In 1963, the K-members were redesigned and the external brackets were no longer necessary. These were orignally produced as Chrysler part # 2268220, for the right side, and 2268216 for the left. Use our bolt kit 109-1562 to attach these brackets to the ears on the engine block.
