Cam Button - Aluminum

Don't forget to order a cam button with your three bolt timing set. These are great for setting the end play on your camshaft. While they are absolutely required for a roller cam, they are also highly recommended for use with a solid or hydraulic to make sure everything is kept exactly where it should be. This aluminum button is great for use with thicker timing covers such as our CNC machined version, or cast aluminum ones. Aluminum is very easy to modify so that you can set your end play as needed. These work with our 3 bolt timing sets 114-1001 and 102-1004, or any other sets which feature a .750" (3/4") diameter center hole. The overall length on this button is about .690" long. We recommend setting roller cam end play between .005" and .010".
