When bolts just aren't strong enough, you have to go to main studs. Our ARP main cap stud kit are the strongest main studs you can buy for the big block Mopar engine. Made from start to finish right here in Southern California, they are forged from aircraft quality 8740 Chrome Moly steel that exceeds the most stringent aircraft quality standards. They have features like J-form threads that are rolled after heat treating to give a strength that is 1000% stronger than some of the other studs on the market. Yes, that's 1000%, not 100%. EACH STUD has a capacity of 200,000 pounds per square inch! Parallel ground and hardened washers (shown above) are also included. Finished in black oxide for good looks and corrosion resistance.
