Our ARP 8740 Chrome Moly water pump housing bolt & washer kits are black oxide coated for good looks and corrosion resistance. They are rated at a minimum 170,000 PSI, which is even stronger than a grade 8 bolt! These feature a 12pt head for easy access. Matching black oxide washers (shown above) are included. Considering these bolts are located at the front top of the engine, they're one of the first things you see when the hood is opened, so small details like this can really make a car "show quality." The missing bolt on the lower left side is included with our alternator bolt kits, since the type of alternator brackets being used will affect the length of this bolt. The missing bolt on the upper right hand side of the housing is used to hold the power steering brackets on (used only with power steering cars, of course) and it is supplied with our 109-1513 "Power steering bolt kit" if needed.
