1965 C Body - Engine Support Brackets - For Blocks w/o Bosses

For 1965 C bodies, the engine brackets are a one year only design. Originally from the factory, these brackets required a special engine block which has specific bosses cast into the front of the block. Previously, if you were wanting to use a different block or an engine which did not have these special bosses, you were out of luck. We now have these special "conversion" brackets, which allow you to use any year block. They require you to drill and tap the two smaller bosses on the lower front of the engine near the oil pump with 3/8-16 x 1" long bolts. All engines have these bosses, so any block can be used. Please click on the "view additional images" button to see the location of these bosses. A great problem solver for those 1965 C Bodies. This part number is for the brackets only. Use our 101-1068 engine mount for the left (Drivers) side, and our 101-1067 engine mount for the right (passenger) side. Also, use our 109-1562 bolt kit for bolting the brackets to the engine block.
