Engine blocks are the last piece in the Big Block Mopar puzzle that haven't gone "affordibly aftermarket" yet. When building a high performance stroker engine with our parts, you can order practically every part of the engine in some type of brand new "billet forged super heavy duty" version, (and have it show up at your doorstep with just a simple phone call,) EXCEPT for engine blocks. These are the one part you can't get new for a reasonable price. And even if you do fork out the $3000-$4000 for a new aftermarket block, there's been so many availability and quality control issues, it's often months or even years until you can actually get your paws on one. The alternative has been to scrounge through the bone yards, looking for a practically nonexistent core engine.
When (or if) you do find one, the chances of it being cracked, overbored too far, or any of a hundred other potential problems is pretty likely with used engine blocks, most of which are from an unknown origin, and practically half a century old at this point. We get calls all the time from guys who spent hours pulling these core engines out of a vehicle, and hours more tearing them down, bringing them to the machine shop, etc... only to find out they have nothing but an expensive boat anchor.
So, as an answer to the above problems, we are now carrying a large selection of pre-inspected and FULLY MACHINED Big Block Mopar engine blocks to work with our stroker kits. We start with only the best quality seasoned factory blocks. When we first receive them, they are checked for any broken off engine mount ears or starter mount ears. Any blocks we find with ANY broken off ears are not used. Then the blocks go through a cleaning process, where all the factory grease and grime is removed. Then they are subject to a full magnafluxing, which inspects the lifter valley, main saddles, outer case (by the freeze plugs) and other areas for any cracks which could compromise the integrity and horsepower handling ability of the blocks. Once they pass full magnaflux, we have as close as you can get to a factory fresh casting, ready for machining.
Next, all machine work is performed on the highest quality SUNNEN equipment right here in the USA. Blocks are bored, finished honed for moly rings (with torque plate of course), decked and align honed (with ARP studs installed.) All blocks include the installed ARP main studs with 12 point nuts which were torqued to spec. during line honing.
All cylinder honing is done with torque plate, head gaskets and main caps installed and torqued to spec.
A perfect compliment to our stroker kits. Just do your stroker clearancing, final wash and clean, install freeze plugs and cam bearings, and assemble your stroker motor. 400 and 440 blocks with common bore sizes such as .030, .040, .055, .060 are usually available. Call for details. We also have blocks with Billet Steel OR Aluminum Main Caps & ARP studs already installed, line bored and finished honed, ready to ship. Call for details.
All blocks must be shipped by truck freight. This is generally around $200-$400, depending on your location. Blocks must be crated in a wooden crate in order to be shipped. It is mandatory to add the crating fee (listed below) for shipping engine blocks. Click here for

Due to lack of availability of good usable engine block cores,
we have had to discontinue future production of our fully machined engine
blocks. All blocks listed below are currently available for sale, however once
they are gone, they're gone forever. Get 'em while you can...
